NAFTA
For my last and final blog, I decided to talk about "What is Trump doing with NAFTA?" from the article "Find the Light by Desiree J." I thought it was interesting to learn that the NAFTA was originally made to encourage trade within countries since it is such a big deal for countries to be doing that. Most countries do not want to worry about the tariffs on the exports so many try to find a way around it. (Which gets them in more trouble by doing so.) What if something happened while you were doing something you were not supposed to since you just wanted to try to be sneaky? What if you get caught and thrown in jail or worse? The Bill of Rights and Constitution are here to protect us but we have to abide to them in order to do so.

I think that Trump is overreacting when it comes to him saying the jobs are all in Mexico. Trump does not have any proof that Mexico is any different from the U.S. Desiree says that 'Trump has announced that he will not terminate this agreement." I think that this is a good choice for everybody since imports and exports effect everybody as a whole. I know it is a big deal to determine agreements like these with other countries or nations, and I bet it is not an easy decision to make a president themselves. I think that is must be difficult with all the pressure of everybody's fate based on the decision you would make to try to improve among everyone. I also agree with Desiree that terminating the NAFTA would be worse for everybody. Tariffs would be higher, jobs would be effected etc. But does anyone think of the kind of consequences when dealing with situations like this? I think that it is better for everyone as whole; that they keep the NAFTA and just adjust it as needed. I mean it is already in effect, Why not just try to improve it for the better?  No one knows what the future holds for any of us; so why not try to make it better for everyone together?
